New Logistics Center in Talcahuano Strengthens AGUNSA’s operational network in the Biobío Region
This Thursday, we inaugurated our new Rocuant Logistics Center: a strategic facility spanning more than 21,300 m², developed to enhance import and export operations in the Biobío region.
The Rocuant Center has been designed to meet the needs of international trade, incorporating secure storage areas, paved zones that optimize operations, connections for refrigerated containers that ensure the cold chain, and a safeguarded area authorized by the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), all in compliance with the highest regulatory standards.
According to Biobío Branch Manager, Jonathan Escalona, “this new center strengthens our logistical capabilities and becomes a strategic asset for importers and exporters in the region.” With this inauguration, a 30% increase in service volume in Talcahuano is projected, consolidating AGUNSA’s position as a key player in regional logistics.
The facility features 10,300 m² of covered warehouses and 11,000 m² of paved yard space, enabling comprehensive logistics solutions for various industries. This new center, together with those in Coronel and Talcahuano (San Vicente sector), reinforces AGUNSA’s operational network in the Biobío region. “This infrastructure fully integrates with our strategically located facilities in the area, allowing us to offer coordinated, flexible, and high-standard operations across all bays in the region,” explains AGUNSA’s Commercial Manager, Tomás Valenzuela.
Located just minutes from the main port terminals and industrial areas, the center improves supply chain efficiency. Pablo Passeron, General Manager of TTP, highlights that its proximity—only two kilometers from the port—“significantly expands operational possibilities for both TTP and AGUNSA, and especially for their clients. This location will strengthen the portfolio of logistics services that we, as a group, provide.”
