AGUNSA Bonded Warehouse “AEXSA” and its first Inspection

On Wednesday February 20th, AEXSA successfully completed its first physical inspection of containerized cargo at the recently inaugurated AGUNSA Bonded Warehouse in San Antonio.

On this occasion, containers were selected for local risk and inspected, in charge were inspectors of the Customs Administration of San Antonio and was done in complete normality, without any damages to the cargo or setbacks.

The procedure put to the test its systems link to the Port Terminals, Customs Agencies and with the National Customs Service, as well as the capacity of the documentary equipment. “It leaves us quite calm demonstrating that our operations and warehouse team are perfectly prepared to provide these services at the Bonded Warehouse”, indicated Francisco Valdivia, General Manager for AEXSA.

The new bonded warehouse, with a Surface area of 50,000 square metres, allows for a capacity of 5,000 square metres of concrete warehouses that are 8 platforms in height, offering both shippers and importers the management of their cargo with timely, safe and flexible service, through a technological platform at the forefront with a focus on innovation.
