AGUNSA has won the tender with Compañía Minera Cordillera

AGUNSA was awarded the tender for Compañía Minera Cordillera for the “Maritime, Port and Logistics Agency Services for Puerto Patache” contract, for the next five years, commencing August 1st of 2019, where the contractor must provide the equipment, tools and personnel that is necessary for a correct and timely service.

In this tender, AGUNSA will provide the services of Port Agent at Patache Maritime Terminal, as well as operate in conjunction with AGENOR the subcontract of providing maintenance service for the mine and port.

The services of linesmen, trimmers and shiploader will continue to be provided by REPORT, who have performed this role since the terminal began operations. Launch services will be provided by AGUNSA and the towage will be done by CPT.

The Patache Maritime Mining Terminal (TMMP) commenced its operations on February of 1998, dedicated to the discharge of coal, sulphuric acid for the CELTA (Patache Thermoelectric Power Plant) and Interacid (Interacid Trading S.A.) plants.
