CIRPAN Marcel Bunout Award 2025: Innovation in Electromobility for Mining

As part of the 50th anniversary of the Círculo de Empresas Panamericana Norte (CIRPAN A.G.), the project “Electromobility for Mining” was honored with the CIRPAN Marcel Bunout Award 2025 in the Innovation category. This initiative replaced cargo vehicles with an electric fleet powered by renewable energy, achieving zero emissions and saving 50 tons of CO₂.

This achievement was made possible thanks to the collaborative work of Romina Arriagada, Carlos Bidart, Teresita Saavedra, Nicolás Calvo Callejas, Mario Rojas, Nolberto Palma, Andrés Lanis, and Daniel Casanueva Carcamo, who drove this solution aligned with the country’s sustainability and decarbonization goals.
