French shipping company Marfret appointed AGUNSA as its General Agent

Early this year, French shipping company appointed AGUNSA as its General Agent in Chile, Peru and Ecuador by extending its Mediterranean- Caribbean service to the South-East coast of the Americas.
As General Agent, AGUNSA provides effective solutions to its customers, protecting and managing their commercial operations. The accumulated experience allows offering to their principals deep knowledge of the cargo movement market and an important network of contacts and collaborators among the foreign trade companies.
In Chile, Marfret has weekly departures on Saturdays to carry reefer containers from the Port of San Antonio to Panama, where they are transshipped on vessels of the MED-CAR SERVICE, bound for the Caribbean ports of Point a Pitre (Guadalupe island) and Fort de France (Martinique island), as well as the Mediterranean ports of Algeciras, Barcelona, Valencia (Spain), Livorno, Genoa (Italy) and Fos Sur Mer (France).
Marfret is a French shipping company with a good position in the main North/South maritime routes, with worldwide coverage, offering a comprehensive door-to-door multimodal service. Marfret, in today’s globalized market, is showing that joint solutions involving ports, port communities and carriers are possible.
In turn, AGUNSA is a Chilean company created in 1960 as a shipping agent, which has been extending its services to ports, airports, logistics and carriage, with coverage in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
