MV SH Vega of Swan Hellenic Makes Inaugural Call at Valparaíso

On March 27th, the MV SH Vega, represented by Swan Hellenic, made its inaugural call at the port of Valparaíso. Arriving from Niebla, the vessel docked to facilitate passenger exchange, provision and spare parts loading, crew change, and the removal of waste and sludge.

During its stay, the traditional plaque exchange ceremony took place, attended by executives from Empresa Portuaria Valparaíso. This ceremony is a cherished tradition in the cruise industry, where the host port welcomes the captain and crew with gifts. In this case, commemorative plaques were exchanged between the captain of the MV SH Vega and the port representatives.

After its visit to Valparaíso, the MV SH Vega set sail for Coquimbo, continuing its journey to the northern ports of Chile: Antofagasta and Arica.
