ONE Sphere Makes First Call in Chile at the Port of Iquique

The Port of Iquique welcomed the ONE Sphere, one of the most modern and sustainable vessels of Ocean Network Express (ONE), marking its first call in Chile with Iquique Terminal Internacional (ITI) as the host terminal.

With a capacity of over 13,800 TEU and 1,700 reefer container connections, this impressive vessel—measuring 335 meters in length and 51 meters in beam—officially launches the AX1 service, positioning Iquique as a strategic hub on the Asia–South America route.

AGUNSA is proud to have played a key role in this milestone through its port agency services, reaffirming its commitment to operational efficiency, sustainability, and global connectivity.
