Safety management recognitions highlight performance in CODELCO DET contract

July 2025 — AGUNSA has been recognized for its strong commitment to safety and operational excellence in the Logistics Operation contract with CODELCO División El Teniente (DET), receiving two significant acknowledgments that reflect the collaborative work and preventive culture that define its operations.

First, the Instituto de Seguridad del Trabajo (IST) acknowledged AGUNSA for surpassing 500 days without accidents, a milestone made possible by the efforts of nearly 200 people involved in the service, including the REPORT team. This achievement demonstrates a solid and sustained preventive management approach.

In addition, on Thursday, July 9, the Occupational Health and Safety Management, together with the Mine Management of CODELCO DET, presented a special recognition to AGUNSA for its performance, commitment, and safety control within the contract. During the event, the preventive efforts were highlighted, and other contractors were encouraged to follow this example, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in protecting people.

This contract has become a benchmark in safety and efficiency, thanks to the joint efforts of operational teams, supervisors, management, the client CODELCO, and IST.

AGUNSA extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to these achievements and reaffirms its commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and the well-being of its teams.
