Representative for Manta Port Terminal participated at TOC Americas

Andres Padilla, Operations Director for Marglobal (AGUNSA Ecuador), made a presentation at TOC Americas 2019, within the panel of “Port Investment and Infrastructure.”

In his presentation, after presenting the main activities and achievements of AGUNSA, he focused on publicizing all of the port and infrastructure projects in Ecuador, which in recent years has been thanks to the Public-Private Partnership models, with a boom in private investments in the Ecuadorean port system.  There was an analysis of the increase in the port capacity v/s the volume of cargo being handled, as well as the projections and the future of the port situation in Ecuador.

TOC Americas is a conference and exhibition that specializes in the shipping-port industry that is held annually in one of the main maritime hubs in the world, where representatives of the principal shipping lines, port terminals and industry providers attend.  This time it was held in Cartagena between October 29 and 31.
